Toronto will welcome Canada’s first property under the Canopy by Hilton brand later this year.
The structural framework of the 184-room Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville Hotel has been completed by Easton’s Group of Hotels – the owner and manager of the forthcoming hotel.
The hotel is slated to open in November 2022 at 387 Bloor Street East.
Upon completion, the hotel will have a modern café with locally sourced products, and a restaurant with views of Bloor Street and Rosedale Valley.
Rooms will be located on the second to ninth floors, with the remaining floors of the 55-storey building housing Gupta Group Developments’ Rosedale on Bloor residential units.
There will also be an indoor heated pool, yoga and fitness rooms, and comfortable meeting spaces.
The hotel’s design has been led by Studio Munge and features curved edges and organic motifs, soon to be joined by a local art collection.
The Canopy by Hilton brand was launched in 2014, and has more than 35 open properties around the world, with 26 under development across 16 countries and territories.
Recent openings in the US include the Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop and the Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown
