Marriott International will open its first Autograph Collection Residences property in London.
Slated to open by 2024, The Lucan, Autograph Collection Residences will include 31 residences in the capital’s Chelsea neighbourhood.
Located within a historic redeveloped red-brick property just off the renowned Kings Road, the residential property is between Sloane Square and South Kensington underground stations and close to Harrods, the Saatchi Art Gallery and the Royal Court Theatre.
The brand is described as a collection of “independently designed homes, handpicked for their creative vision, heartfelt design and authentic sense of place”.
The 31 residences will include one-, two- and three-bed units as well as a penthouse, with design by British luxury interiors studio Rive Gauche. Facilities will include a state-of-the-art gym and 24-hour valet service with underground parking.
Services will include housekeeping, personal trainers, pet care, floristry, and a 24-hour concierge (known as the Luminaries).
Marriott International has signed an agreement with Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) for the property, which marks the first standalone residences under the brand in the UK. There is an existing Autograph Collection Residences property in Utah.
Marriott International has nearly 225 residential projects, both open and in the pipeline, across 42 countries and territories. The group has 16 residential brands and expects its global residential portfolio to grow by approximately 60 per cent by 2025.
