Ras Al Khaimah’s first music and wellness festival – Raktopia – will take place from October 22-23, 2022 at the 300-metre stretch of the Longbeach Campground in the emirate.

The organisers have announced the lineup of activities and performers at the festival. It includes Body movement awareness with Raktopia ambassador Allaoua Gaham, a yogi and certified instructor of Animal Flow, who will introduce a yoga-meets-breakdancing workout, as well as Systema, a form of martial arts that focuses on physical, mental and spiritual wellness.

There will be guided meditation sessions with Sarah White and a pilates session with Tamara Khoury – a certified personal trainer and holistic health coach with a speciality in HIIT and cardio Pilates. There will also be a jamming
sessions with Charl Chaka – a well-known facilitator in music and movement dance.

Several local DJs will join live artists who will co-create art to perform during the day at the festival. Internationally renowned DJs will also participate in Raktopia. The names include NU – one of the most-streamed electronic music artists; LUM – an Argentinian electronic music DJ who has produced with artists like Bedouin, Blondish and Black Coffee; and 2Third.
