Bulgari Hotels and Resorts plans to open a property in the Maldives in 2025, marking its 13th in the portfolio.

The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will be located in the Raa Atoll of the Maldives archipelago, a 45-minute sea plane journey from Malé airport.

The 20-hectare resort, designed by Italian architectural firm ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, will comprise 54 keys, including a villa on a separate private island, 33 beach villas with individual swimming pools and 20 overwater villas.

Facilities will include four dining venues: Italian venues Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and La Spiaggia, Chinese fine dining Bao Li Xuan, and Japanese venue Hoseki. There will also be a bar, a spa with an adjacent fitness centre, yoga pavilion and private library, along with a boutique and ‘La Galleria’ shop selling items from international designers.

CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said:

“We are particularly proud to have secured such an extraordinary location for the new Bulgari Resort Ranfushi, as the Maldives are a key dreamy destination for our clients from all over the world. We are convinced that this new gem of hospitality addition will ensure once again the highest levels of quality and innovation to our international customers and we look forward to sharing with them the Bulgari values in hospitality at this new, very exclusive location.”

Bulgari Hotels and Resorts already boasts properties in Paris, Milan, Bali, London, Beijing, Dubai and Shanghai, and is set to open further hotels in Rome and Moscow next year, followed by Tokyo in 2023, Miami in 2024, and Los Angeles in 2025.
