Jumeirah Group has unveiled its first hotel in Oman, located around 15 minutes from the capital Muscat.
Plans for Jumeirah Muscat Bay were first announced back in 2017, with the 206-room property situated within the cove of Bandar Jissah, between the Hajar mountains and Gulf of Oman.
The hotel features five F&B venues, including “multi-cuisine restaurant” Peridot, Tarini lounge for afternoon tea, poolside eatery Zuka, and Anzo bar and terrace. Signature seafood restaurant Brezza is set to open in September.
Other facilities include a Talise Spa with hammam, sauna and steam room, as well as a fitness centre, adults-only and kids pools, a yoga studio, tennis court and water sports centre.
The group describes Muscat Bay as “Oman’s only fully integrated resort village”, with facilities including shops, restaurants, pools, BBQ and kids play areas, and landscaped gardens and parkland. More information on the development can be seen at muscatbay.com.
