IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd. to develop a new Holiday Inn hotel – Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 in the NCR region. The new-build property featuring 139 keys is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2025.
Strategically located on the NH8 highway, which connects Delhi Airport to Gurgaon, the hotel is expected to benefit from excellent visibility and accessibility. Given it’s close proximity to established commercial development located within a three-five km radius, the hotel will be well positioned to cater to the corporate demand. Additionally, Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 be situated at a convenient distance of 15 km from the International Airport and 5 km from the Gurgaon City Centre, and will be an attractive venue for both local corporate meetings and small to medium social events.
With the new signing, Gurgaon will now have three IHG hotels across brands, including Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express, thereby offering guests options depending on their needs and price points.
On opening, Holiday Inn Gurgaon NH 8 will offer guests well-equipped modern rooms and state-of-the-art facilities for a comfortable stay experience. The hotel will offer an all-day dining & bar, a lobby lounge, a swimming pool and a gymnasium. Additionally, the hotel will have approximately 400 sqm of meeting and banqueting space to cater to the growing demand coming from MICE and social events segments.
IHG currently has 44 hotels operating across five brands in SWA, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express, and a strong pipeline of 47 hotels due to open in the next 2-3 years.
