Radisson Hotel Group has unveiled its first property in Albania under the growing Radisson Collection brand.

Radisson Collection Morina Hotel, Tirana is located in Sauk, just outside of the city centre. It is also adjacent to the 289-hectare Grand Park of Tirana, which is home to the Presidential Palace, the Zoo and the Botanical Garden.

The newly built hotel in the country’s capital is part of a new development on Dry Lake and features 49 rooms and suites across eight floors, all of which include private balconies, large TVs with mirror casting and in-room espresso machines.

Design by Italian architects Cross Design references the neoclassical style of the Louis XVI era and includes a white, ivory and brown colour scheme, with Italian-made furniture, sofas and seats upholstered in Alcantara. Bathrooms are fitted in black marble and offer walk-in rain showers as well as bathtubs in the suites.

The all-day dining restaurant has a Mediterranean-inspired menu, with Italian specialties, vegan dishes and traditional Albanian fare, and there’s also a first floor bar and a rooftop lounge bar.

Wellness facilities include two swimming pools, a hair and nail salon, and a full-service spa. For business guests, there is a meeting room equipped with conference technology which can accommodate up to 100 people.

Loreta Xhebraj, General Manager, Radisson Collection Morina Hotel, Tirana, commented:

“Tirana is the next new exciting destination in Eastern Europe and has recently grown in popularity thanks to its grand boulevards lined with fascinating vestiges of its Ottoman, Italian, and communist past. We’re delighted to welcome our guests to Radisson Collection Morina Hotel, Tirana – the perfect base to discover the city.”

The Radisson Collection was launched in 2018 as a replacement for the Quorvus Collection, as part of wider group restructuring which saw Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group renamed as the Radisson Hotel Group.
