UAE carrier Emirates has introduced a new home check-in service for first class passengers in Dubai and Sharjah.

The service is free for Emirates’ first class customers. The airline’s check-in agents will visit these customers at their homes or hotels at pre-booked timings.

The service must be booked at least 24 hours prior to the flight departure time, and the latest check-in for the home service is six hours before the flight’s departure.

All check-in formalities including document verification, checking-in of baggage, and issuing boarding passes will be undertaken by the visiting agents.

The agents will take the luggage directly to the airport. Emirates added that there is an allocated counter at the airport for any last-minute extra luggage.

First- and business-class passengers can avail of a complimentary chauffer service to the airport in Dubai from anywhere within the UAE. On arrival at Dubai International airport (DXB), which must be minimum of 90 minutes prior to the flight, they can proceed directly to immigration and security.

All Emirates customers at DXB can use the carrier’s app to check-in and issue a mobile boarding pass using the the airline’s self-service bag drop.

Registered customers can continue hands-free through the airport by using the integrated biometrics tunnel and smart gates at DXB.

First class customers can access the Emirates First Class Lounge and avail of complimentary facial treatment at the Timeless Spa, a shoeshine service by Mr Cobbler, four fine champagne vintages at the dedicated Moet and Chandon bar as well as special offers at luxury wine and spirits retailer Le Clos.

They can directly board their flight through a private air bridge for certain routes. Emirates has over 1,700 first class seats across its fleet of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
