Easyhotel has opened its second property in France, with the unveiling of the EasyHotel Paris Charles de Gaulle Villepinte.

The 208-room new-build hotel was first announced in 2018, and is located around ten minutes’ drive from Paris CDG airport, with rooms starting from €60 per night.

It joins the group’s existing Nice property which opened in late 2019, with a second Paris property  under development in the city’s north-eastern suburb of Aubervilliers.

Easyhotel currently has a portfolio of 43 properties in 34 cities across 11 countries, and has a target of reaching 100 hotels by 2026.

The group operates a hybrid approach, with 27 of its current hotels (2,300 rooms) franchised, and the other 16 (2,000 rooms) owned.

Last year Easyhotel announced plans to open a 75-room hotel in the Saint Andreu district of Barcelona – the group’s second hotel in the Spanish city.

Karim Malak, chief executive Officer at Easyhotel, said that over 12,000 nights had already been sold at the Paris CDG property, which had its soft opening earlier this year.

“Our great value prices are increasingly appealing to customers as budgets are under pressure, so whether for the finance-conscious guest who wants to travel within their means, the finance discerning guest who prefers to spend their money on the finer things outside of their hotel room, or those who value an environmentally-friendly option, Easyhotel is the clever choice for travellers,” said Malak.
