The Ritz-Carlton has entered Jordan with a new property in the capital city of Amman.
The hotel, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, has announced the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Amman situated on the Fifth Circle.
The 20-storey property, features 228 guest rooms, including 34 suites, spread across seven different categories, with the design of the guestrooms taking inspiration from the country’s natural elements, sand and sea.
Led by Wimberly Interiors London, Marriott says that the hotel’s design is inspired by the culture and history of Jordan. Artistic elements within the hotel draw inspiration from the landscape of the Kingdom, from natural rifts of the sea and saturated colors of the earth to the deep crevices of caves and mountains. The Petra is reflected in a series of vignettes, while Roman and Nabatean architectural features are also found throughout the hotel.
The Ritz-Carlton, Amman offers several dining options including the property’s signature restaurant, Roberto’s which is a familiar presence in Dubai’s culinary scene. Its other F&B options include Ambros, Iris, Sarab Garden and The Founders Room.
This summer, Soleil will open on the property with a focus on vegetarian dishes and will feature a coffee roastery too. Later this year, sports lounge Legends will open too at the Ritz-Carlton, Amman.
The hotel has a 1,050 sqm Grand Ballroom, five meeting rooms, a boardroom, and a luxurious Club Lounge.
