The Ritz-Carlton Reserve brand has joined the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.

Members of Marriott Bonvoy will now be able to earn and redeem across the five Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties worldwide, which offer on average 75 residential-style suites and villas.

The properties in the portfolio include Mandapa in Bali, Higashiyama Niseko Village in Japan, Phulay Bay in Thailand, Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, and Zandun in Mexico.

Members will earn 10 points per dollar spent at the properties, plus bonus points depending on their elite tier status. Marriott says that members will also earn bonus points if paying with a Marriott co-branded credit card.

Additionally, members will receive one elite night for every night spent at a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property – this will count towards their lifetime status.

Marriott recently adopted flexible point redemption rates for its Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.

This will apply to Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties within the range of 80,000 to 240,000 points per night, introduced to reflect the “high level of service and unparalleled on-property offerings at Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties worldwide”. Members will be able to book cash and points rates subject to availability, and will also be able to get a free night on award stays of five nights or more.

Marriott Bonvoy members will also be able to access select elite benefits at Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties. See the chart below for more information.
