Radisson Hotel Group has announced its first Radisson Individuals property in Ghana in partnership with Belfast City Management.

The 108-unit Number One Oxford Street Hotel and Suites is located in the capital’s Osu neighbourhood, close to Accra’s financial business district and government ministries and 4km from Kokota Accra International airport.

The property includes both hotel rooms and suites, along with serviced apartments offering a separate living room, balcony and fully equipped kitchen.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness centre and spa, and à la carte restaurant.

Tim Cordon, area senior vice president, Middle East and Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, said:

“We are delighted to mark our official debut in Ghana and maintain the momentum of our new Radisson Individuals brand in Africa with the rebranding of this landmark hotel, Number One Oxford Street Hotel & Suites. Africa presents a key opportunity for Radisson Individuals, as it perfectly responds to the evolving demands of the continent’s market for both hotel owners and guests. We look forward to guests enjoying this beloved hotel, coupled with our renowned Yes I Can! service and hospitality.”

The brand will also see La Maison Blanche Tunis in Tunisia join the portfolio in January 2023 following a full renovation.

Radisson Individuals launched last year as a conversion brand aimed at encouraging independent hotels and local, regional chains to join the group’s platform. The first hotel to join the brand was Henrietta House in Bath, and the brand has since signed properties in locations including Estonia, India, Italy, Florida, Serbia, Scotland and Saudi Arabia.
