Eurostar has reopened the cocktail bars within its Business Premier lounges in both London and Paris, following temporary closure during the pandemic.

The high-speed rail service is resuming its full Business Premier lounge service at St Pancras International and Paris Gare du Nord to meet the growing demand for leisure and business travel.

The cocktail menu features a range of British, Belgian, Dutch and French spirits – including Eurostar’s own Toujours 21 gin which is a blend of French botanicals and honey from the Kent countryside.

Guests can once again enjoy two signature cocktails – Lavender Dusk and Angelique – designed by Eurostar Business Premier Culinary Director Raymond Blanc OBE, and sample the new Snow Bird cocktail which blends vodka with orgeat, amaretto, absinthe, egg white and fresh lemon.

The bar will serve smoothies from 6am-midday during the week, while the cocktail service will be open from 3pm until the boarding time of the last train.

The lounges will also introduce a collection of savoury and sweet canapés to accompany the cocktails from the end of April.

Andy Robinson, head of on board services, said:

“The cocktail bars in both London and Paris offer customers a relaxing area to unwind after work or the perfect way to start their holiday. We’re excited to resume a full service in our Business Premier lounges as we know how much our travellers value these extra special touches as part of their Eurostar experience.”

The cocktail bar on the upstairs floor of the London lounge opened in 2018, a year after the opening of the Paris version.

Eurostar is currently opening 13 daily returns on the London-Paris route, six daily returns on the London-Brussels route and three daily returns on the London-Amsterdam service.

From mid-May there will be up to 15 daily return services between London and Paris, seven daily returns between London and Brussels and three daily returns on the London to Amsterdam route.

Last week we reported the news of the European Commission’s approval of the merger between Eurostar and Thalys.
