Hilton is set to debut its luxury LXR Hotels and Resorts brand on the private Al Nawras Island in Abu Dhabi.

Al Nawras Island, LXR Hotels and Resorts is expected to open in 2023 with 80 “expansive” beach and water villas as well as a 450 sqm two-bedroom villa surrounding a golf course.

Leisure facilities will include a gym, fitness studio, three swimming pools (two outdoor and one indoor), tennis and paddle courts, a spa and a kid’s club. The resort will also have a private marina and beach club.

F&B venues will include two restaurants with al fresco dining areas, two bars and a wellness-inspired café.

Carlos Khneisser, vice president, development, Middle East and Africa, Hilton, commented:

“We’re delighted to be bringing LXR Hotels & Resorts to Abu Dhabi with Al Nawras Island.

“The UAE’s burgeoning capital has established itself as a global hub in recent years and has seen incredible development in terms of hospitality, sports and tourism. I believe Al Nawras Island will complement Abu Dhabi’s luxury hotel landscape perfectly and we look forward to guests experiencing this unique property.”

Hilton launched its LXR Hotels and Resorts brand in 2018, and has three other LXR properties in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, as well as the recently announced Wadi Hanifah, LXR Hotels & Resorts at Diriyah Gate, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
