Singapore-based serviced residence and hotel company The Ascott Limited has opened a new aparthotel in Vienna.
Owned by C-view, Citadines South Vienna is the brand’s first franchise property in Austria and is located in the city’s Favoriten district.
It has good transport connections, with tram route 1 outside the property, and is close to one of Vienna’s largest business districts ‘Wienerberg City’, which is home to the headquarters of multinational companies such as Coca Cola, Microsoft and L’Oréal.
The new aparthotel features 48 modern studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, some of which have private balconies. All units include fully-equipped kitchens, underfloor heating, air conditioning and flatscreen TVs.
There is also a ground-floor lounge area with a pool table, a small library and ‘snack corner’, along with a fitness centre and laundry room. Additionally, a business area features charging stations, a printer, a photocopier and a scanner.
The property offers a buffet breakfast, a weekly cleaning service (which can be booked at shorter intervals if desired), and 24-hour contactless check-in and check-out via the Discover ASR mobile app.
Citadines South Vienna was constructed with a focus on sustainability, using the eco-friendly building material Ziegelit, which is made up of brick clippings, sand, cement and water. The material is designed to ensure fire resistance, sound insulation and reduce heat build-up during the summer months.
There are also two electric vehicle charging stations in the underground car park in addition to designated parking spaces for electric vehicles.
