Qatar has removed the UK from its red travel list, easing restrictions for vaccinated Brits.

Fully vaccinated travellers from the UK will no longer have to quarantine on arrival in the country.

All visitors must still submit a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours of departure, and complete an online pre-travel registration at least three days before entering the country.

The pre-travel registration form requires travellers to “upload all relevant official documents, where applicable, such as vaccination certificates, evidence of previous COVID-19 infection, serology antibody test results (for conditional vaccines), and PCR lab result”.

Travellers must also sign an Undertaking and Acknowledgment Form before arriving in Qatar. They are also required to download the Ehteraz contact tracing app operated by the Qatar Ministry of Public Health.

The Gulf state had placed the UK on its red travel list last November due to a rise in Covid-19 cases. The removal of the UK leaves nine countries on the high-risk list: Bangladesh, Egypt, Georgia, India, Jordan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka.
