IHG Hotels and Resorts has opened its first Crowne Plaza property in Egypt.

The Crowne Plaza West Cairo – Arkan is located in the west of the Egyptian capital within the Arkan Plaza mixed-use development.

The 178 rooms and suites feature modern design, and facilities include a flexible and hybrid lobby space for work and leisure, five meeting rooms and event spaces, and a Club Lounge.

Dining options include the all-day dining restaurant Amphora, which offers Mediterranean cuisine and a spacious terrace; Armenian restaurant Mayrig; and Pan-Asian cuisine at Miss Li Lee which includes an outdoor terrace, colourful murals and contemporary design.
