Staycity has debuted in the German city of Frankfurt with a 269-apartment property at Frankfurt airport.

The property is located a seven-minute walk from the airport’s Terminal 2 and also provides easy access to central Frankfurt, with direct trains taking 14 minutes to reach the city centre, and connections to other German cities and international destinations. It is also close to the Gateway Gardens business village.

The aparthotel offers both studio and one-bed apartments with well-equipped kitchens/kitchenettes along with a living and dining space. Facilities include a guest lounge, gym, grab-and-go pantry area, car park and laundry room.

There is also a 24-hour reception and a café offering drinks and snacks.

This marks the operator’s third aparthotel in Germany, bringing its total apartment count up to 5,000. In 2019 it debuted its premium Wilde brand in Berlin’s Friedrichstrasse district, and last year added a 299-room property in Heidelberg to its portfolio.

Staycity operates 30 properties across 14 European destinations, with further properties set to open in Dublin, Paris and London’s Paddington this year. The operator states that by the end of the year it will operate 5,500 apartments across France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and the UK.
