Sky Express has become the latest carrier to join the Worldwide by Easyjet connections service.

The move will allow customers to book tickets through the Easyjet website, for self-connecting flights with Sky Express via Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Zakynthos, Preveza, Kefalonia, Rhodes, Larnaca, Chania and Heraklion to over 20 new Greek destinations, including:

Mytilene, Paros, Icaria, Astypalaia, Naxos, Vathi, Scio, Lemnos, Karpathos, Kythera, Milos, Alexandroupoli, Kastoria, Skiros, Kozani, Kasos Island, Sitia, Syros, Kalymnos and Laros Island

Easyjet launched Worldwide in 2017 with airlines Norwegian and Westjet, and has since expanded the service to 18 partners including Corsair, La Compagnie, LoganairSingapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary ScootAir TransatVirgin AtlanticEmiratesCathay Pacific, Etihad Airways. and Icelandair.

Virgin Atlantic recently extended its Worldwide by Easyjet partnership to include connections at Manchester, Edinburgh and Belfast International airports.

Under the Worldwide programme, connecting passengers are subject to minimum connection times, and flights are not held. If a passenger misses their connecting flight they are transferred to the next available service.

Sky Express was founded in 2005, and flies to 48 destinations in eight countries, offering what it says is the largest network of destinations within Greece.

Last summer the airline launched new flights between Heathrow and Athens.
