Qatar Airways has announced plans to increase frequency on its Dublin-Doha route from the start of the summer schedules.

The Gulf carrier currently operates a daily service to and from the Irish capital, and will increase this to ten flights per week from March 27, with the following schedules:

Daily

  • QR17 departs Doha at 0755, arrives into Dublin at 1325
  • QR18 departs Dublin at 1455, arrives into Doha at 2355

Monday, Thursday and Sunday

  • QR19 departs Doha at 0120, arrives into Dublin at 0650
  • QR20 departs Dublin at 0820, arrives into Doha at 1720

Qatar Airways has served Dublin since June 2017.

Qatar Airways to launch Dublin service

The carrier’s Country Manager for UK and Ireland, Gary Kershaw, said that demand for flights and international travel was “returning at pace”, adding that “we are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer our passengers flying from Dublin more choice about how and when they fly”.

“We look forward to seeing these changes come into effect later this year, a moment which will mark another important step in the travel industry’s recovery from the pandemic,” said Kershaw.

The major Gulf carriers are steadily rebuilding frequencies on UK and Irish routes, with Emirates this week having added a second daily service to Gatwick.
