Aparthotel operator Staycity has carried out a renovation of its Paris Gare de l’Est property.

The property’s 50 studio and one-bed apartments have been refurbished, while guest areas have had a contemporary facelift.

The aparthotel, which has been operated by Staycity since 2008, is located just three-minutes walk from the major rail station in the city’s 10th arrondissement.

Jason Delany, director of brand, product and marketing, commented:

“With its enviable location in central Paris, our Gare de l’Est property has always been popular with our guests but as the company expands across Europe it’s important that all our aparthotels comply with our stringent brand standards and offer guests the same reliable quality wherever they stay with us.”

Staycity also operates a second Paris location in Marne la Vallée near Disneyland Paris, while other French properties include aparthotels in Bordeaux and Marseille.

The operator is set to open a third Paris property in La Defense later this year, followed by another near Roissy airport in 2023, both with over 200 units.

By the end of this year the Dublin-based group will operate 5,000 apartments across its Staycity Aparthotels and premium Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity brands.

The brand recently opened its fourth property in Dublin on Mark Street:
