Expo 2020 Dubai has attracted 8.956 million visits since opening its doors on October 1, 2021.

Season passes to the event have generated almost half (47 per cent) of all visits, with the number of repeat attendees reaching 3.5 million.

In the period leading up to December 13, 6.35 million visits had been registered at Expo, with music concerts, sporting events and National Day celebrations early that month driving up numbers.

During the second half of the month, holiday festivities and a surge in leisure travellers visiting Dubai gave visits a further boost.

From October to December 2021, Expo hosted a total of 8,902 government leaders, including ministers, presidents, prime ministers and heads of state.

During the same period, almost one third (30 per cent) of all visitors came from outside the UAE, with the top international visitor countries including India, Germany, France, the UK, the US, Russia and Saudi Arabia. Many people also continue to travel to the site using RTA transport.

Expo 2020 Dubai runs until March 31, 2022.
