Dream Hotel Group has announced plans for its second property in the Miami area.

The group – which operates brands including Chatwal Hotels and Unscripted Hotels – will open the 165-room Dream Miami within the forthcoming Riverside Wharf development.

The complex is scheduled to open in 2025, and will feature six food and beverage outlets, a rooftop pool, health and wellness facilities and a private marina.

The $185 million Riverside Wharf is expected to break ground next year on the site of the current Wharf Miami.

Commenting on the news Jay Stein, Dream Hotel Group CEO, said:

“There is a natural synergy between Dream Hotel Group and the city of Miami. Our leading lifestyle brand Dream Hotels continues to expand quickly, just like Miami, offering international hospitality, vibrant entertainment and one-of-a-kind experiences sought by local residents, as well as business travellers and pleasure seekers from across the globe.

“We are thrilled to take part in this extraordinary project and can’t wait to open our doors in 2025.”

There are currently half a dozen properties operating under the Dream Hotels brand, in destinations including Miami South Beach, Nashville, New York and Bangkok.

Forthcoming properties include Dream Doha (2022), Dream Memphis (2023), and hotels in Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, Palm Springs and San Antonio in 2024.

In 2019 plans were also unveiled for the first UK property under Dream Hotel Group’s Unscripted brand, to be housed within Birmingham’s restored Methodist Central Hall. However this project is no longer listed as a forthcoming property on the group’s website.
