Singapore Airlines is offering two hours of complimentary in-flight wifi to all passengers until March 31, 2022.
Normally the wifi is only free-of-charge to passengers travelling in its suites, first class or business class, or to PPS Club members, supplementary cardholders and KrisFlyer members in premium economy and economy cabins.
For a limited time only, passengers in any cabin will be able to use the complimentary two hours of wifi to surf the web and stay connected with friends and family via messaging apps. The airline currently offers inflight connectivity on all its aircraft apart from the B737-800 NG.
The offer can be found in the Purchase Access/Promo Plans tab, and comes on top of the packages already available to customers – see below:
Without the offer, three hours of wifi typically costs US$15.99, while other plans include two hours of text-only messaging on chat apps for US$3.99, and 100MB or 200MB of web browsing and emails for US$9.99 and US$15.99 respectively.
Unfortunately many travellers will miss out on this benefit due to the increase in lockdowns and halt in sales for Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lane services. The suspension applies to bookings made after 2359 local time on December 22 for all VTL services scheduled to take place up to and including January 20, 2022.
