Marriott adds dual-branded property next to Dubai International airport

Marriott International has opened a dual-branded property featuring its Aloft and Element by Westin brands near Dubai International airport.

The Aloft and Element Hotels are located at 51st Street, and guests staying at either of the two properties can access the shared facilities.

Aloft Dubai Airport offers 230 rooms with 55-inch LED TVs, complimentary wifi, and walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads and Bliss Spa amenities. F&B offerings include cocktail bar W XYZ, all-day dining area Runway, and the 24-hour grab-and-go Re:Fuel shop at Aloft.

Additional facilities include social gathering space Aloft Backyard, a 24-hour fitness centre, and a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Dubai skyline.

Meanwhile, Element Dubai Airport comprises 89 eco-friendly studios and suites with Westin Heavenly beds, a spa-inspired bathroom, oversized closets and a fully-equipped kitchen. The extended stay brand also includes a large desk, ergonomic chair and a flatscreen HDTV in the rooms. Guests can also purchase fresh ingredients and meals at The Restore Gourmet Pantry.

The two properties also have five meeting rooms with total event space of 204 sqm.

The hotels are also close to attractions including The Dubai Mall, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek Gold and Yacht Club and the Gold Souk.

The Aloft brand currently has five other hotels in Dubai, while Element by Westin counts three additional properties in Production City, Al Jaddaf and Al Mina.
