Hyatt has opened its first Hyatt Place branded hotel in Switzerland, located in Zurich’s Circle district.
The 300-room Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle is directly linked to the airport, and the Circle area includes shops, restaurants, and a park.
The rooms include “separate spaces to sleep, work and play” as well as a sofa-sleeper, and there is complimentary wifi throughout the hotel.
F&B choices include the 24-hour grab-and-go The Market, and all-day dining and takeaway spot Zoom restaurant, plus Zoom Bar.
The hotel has a communal table in the lobby for those who want to co-work, plus access to over 2,800 sqm of function space at the nearby The Circle Convention Center.
Further facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre with cardio equipment and LCD touchscreens, and a ‘necessities’ programme which allows guests to buy or borrow items that they forgot to bring with them.
Ines Bruenn, general manager at the hotel, commented:
“As the Zurich Airport and the Circle district continue to be a dynamic destination, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the first Hyatt Place hotel to Switzerland.
“With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate work and sleep areas, our multitasking, international and local guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road, while both working and relaxing with nature right at their doorstep.”
