Hyatt Place has opened a new hotel in New York’s Chelsea, with design inspired by the brownstone-lined neighbourhood.
The 510-room, 45-storey hotel is located at 140 West 24th Street and features views of the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center.
The contemporary rooms include modern technology such as Google Chromecast connectivity, plush bedding, and a work desk. Amenities include complimentary wifi, pet-friendly rooms, a business centre, and fitness centre with cardio strength-training equipment.
Dining options include a 24-hour market offering grab-and-go items and an on-site bar with regionally inspired food, while The Terrace offers hors d’oeuvres and cocktails and can be hired for a private reception or meeting for up to 80 guests.
Gary Maida, general manager, Hyatt Place New York Chelsea, commented:
“As New York City continues to reopen, grow, and thrive economically, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the world’s second largest Hyatt Place hotel to the area.
“With our intuitively designed social spaces and guestrooms with dedicated work and sleep areas, our multitasking guests can easily accomplish what they need to do while on the road in the city that never sleeps.”
The hotel is currently offering an opening deal which includes two Champagne drinks, a NYC souvenir kit, a 1400 late check-out (based on availability) and complimentary breakfast.
