Delta has opened the fifth Sky Club at its Detroit Metropolitan airport hub.
The 4,600 square-foot lounge is located close to gate A43, and seats up to 100 guests.
The facility overlooks the terminal concourse, and features curated artwork by Michigan-based artists including Kelly Reemtsen, Robert Denton, Rosalind Tallmadge and Rock Therrien.
There is a “premium bar”, offering guests access to complimentary beverages as well as upgraded options including premium wines, spirits, beer and signature cocktails.

Delta is currently the only carrier operating direct, nonstop flights between Detroit and London Heathrow, having resumed the service in October.
The airline said that the Detroit lounge would be followed by new Sky Clubs at Los Angeles International and New York’s LaGuardia airports in 2022, as well as “several Club renovations and refreshes”.
“The opening of a fifth Delta Sky Club in Detroit demonstrates our investment in the city and our customers’ demand for Club experiences,” said Claude Roussel, Managing Director – Delta Sky Clubs.
“We’ve put care into every detail – from the local artwork to the Club design – to create an elevated experience for guests and provide a space that allows them to rest easy this holiday season.”
