The joint business which exists between airlines Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia and Level is set to see new routes being launched in 2022, along with the return of routes which had either been dropped or which had never launched as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
New routes include London to Portland which was announced in 2019, but later dropped because of Covid-19, Barcelona to Los Angeles and Helsinki to Dallas.
The Atlantic Joint Business is a joint venture that started in 2010, between American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia, with Finnair joining in 2013, LEVEL in 2017 and Aer Lingus in 2021.
The new routes detailed today by the joint business (many of which we have already reported) are
Aer Lingus
Two new North American routes have already launched from its new base in Manchester:
