Cathay Pacific will become the first carrier in the Asia Pacific region to offer the HBO Max channel inflight from next month.

From January 1 all customers will be able to access over 200 hours of content including Succession, The White Lotus, The Undoing, Mare of Easttown, Friends: The Reunion, Hacks, Gossip Girl (2021), The Flight Attendant, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, The Wire, Game of Thrones and Band of Brothers.

The partnership also see the Warner Bros movie library added to the carrier’s IFE options, including new releases such as Space Jam, Suicide Squad and Dune.

The news follows a similar partnership between Emirates and Warner Media to bring the HBO Max channel to its ICE inflight system.

LATAM also recently became the first airline in Latin America to offer HBO Max content inflight.
