Radisson Hotel Group has opened the first property under its Radisson Collection brand in Venice, and the fourth in Italy.
The Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is housed within a 16th century building formerly home to the Nani family, “an ancient Venetian family engaged in the political, social and cultural life of the city’s rich past”.
Situated in the northern part of the city, the property offers 52 rooms with views of the Cannaregio Canal, city streets or the hotel’s courtyard, with features including preserved stuccos and frescoes by Italian sculptor Allesandro Vittoria.

The property has undergone a 22-month renovation project, and now features Zoja Wine Bar and Terrace, and meeting space for up to 80 guests.
The hotel joins the recently opened Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan, as well as the Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo in the northern Italian ski resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Palazzo Montemartini Rome, A Radisson Collection Hotel, which we reviewed in 2019.
Commenting on the news Chema Basterrechea, President EMEA at Radisson Hotel Group, said:
“We’re thrilled to establish our presence in this iconic city with our premium lifestyle brand Radisson Collection, which includes emblematic properties in unique locations with exceptional style and service.
“Following the successful opening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Touring Club Milan in August, we now have four Radisson Collection hotels in operation in Italy and continue to expand in the country.”
