Iberia is to ramp up its flights to the US next spring, with services planned to Dallas, San Francisco and Washington DC.

This news comes after the reopening of the US to Europe, with the airline currently operating 70 weekly flights between Spain and the US.

Flights to Dallas, San Francisco and Washington DC will launch in April 2022 and be available for booking “in the near future”. Flights from Madrid to San Francisco will operate three-times-weekly, while those to Dallas and Washington DC will take place four times weekly. Iberia had planned to relaunch flights to the US capital in spring 2020 but these were postponed due to the pandemic.

Flights to Dallas will also allow for one-ticket connections to further US cities as part of the transatlantic joint business agreement that Iberia has with American Airlines, British Airways and Finnair.

The airline already flies to New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles, and to San Juan in Puerto Rico thanks to the joint business agreement.
