Accor will open the fourth property in the UK and Ireland under its luxury Fairmont brand on January 1, 2022.

As previously reported, Fairmont Windsor Park is located on the site of the former Savills Court Hotel and Spa, next to Windsor Great Park.

The 200-room countryside property features a spa and wellness centre with a 20-metre indoor pool, 18 treatment rooms, a hammam, cryotherapy chamber, Himalayan salt room, courtyard hydrotherapy vitality pool and a Japanese Ashiyu foot ritual bath.

The spa will also offer “a highly advanced 4D body scanner”, offering “bespoke health assessments (such as cardiac stress tests) that are followed by an evaluation and proposed treatment plan led by a team of specialised wellness experts”.

There will be seven food and beverage outlets, including farm-to-fork restaurant 1215 at Fairmont Windsor Park, Moreish for European and Middle Eastern fusion dishes, Schroders’ Botanicals Bar offering “a wide range of local and international gins from world-renowned brands and passionate botanists”, wellbeing restaurant Greens Café, and Orchid Tea Room for afternoon teas.

Other facilities include a fitness centre, Pilates studio, outdoor tennis courts, a hair salon and barber shop, and a meeting and events wing featuring an 800 sqm pillar-free ballroom for up to 700 guests.

Fairmont Windsor Park will join London’s The Savoy, Fairmont St Andrews, and the recently opened Carton House, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, as the third Fairmont-managed hotel in the UK and Ireland.

Commenting on the news, Surinder Arora, founder and chairman of the property’s owner Arora Group, said:

“We wanted to create a sanctuary for those who wish to escape the stresses of modern-day life and provide an intimate space for families, friends and couples alike to reconnect after another challenging year.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests both from the UK and overseas who are looking forward to travelling again and enjoying luxury hospitality.”
