Aparthotel operator Staycity has announced that it will open four new properties in the UK under its premium Wilde Aparthotels brand.

The brand will open two London properties, one in Manchester and another in Cambridge by 2025.

Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, London, Aldgate Tower Bridge will open at the end of October and feature 156 studio and one-bed apartments, a bar, breakfast station, gym and on-site parking. The aparthotel will be located on Commercial Road, close to The City, the East End and Docklands, with Aldgate East tube and rail station a six-minute walk away.

Early next year will see the arrival of a property near Paddington station, featuring 249 studios, one- and two-bed apartments along with a bar, breakfast station and gym.

The brand will also open a new-build 256-room aparthotel in Manchester’s St Peter’s Square early next year, located close to a tram stop and Oxford Road rail station. Staycity recently opened a new-build property in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, forming part of the city’s New Cross Neighbourhood Development Framework.

The new properties will join the operator’s existing Wilde aparthotels in Berlin, Edinburgh and London’s Covent Garden, and will give Staycity nearly 1,300 keys in its Wilde portfolio.

Additionally, the operator has announced that it will open a 229-apartment Wilde in Cambridge in 2025, along with a 95-room property in Lisbon in 2023.

Jason Delany, Staycity’s director of brand, product and marketing, commented:

“These properties are all in great locations in both London and Manchester and are perfect for our Wilde brand. We currently operate Wilde Aparthotels in London’s Covent Garden, Edinburgh and Berlin and all have quickly become popular destinations, with our Berlin property reaching number one on TripAdvisor earlier this year and all three receiving strong reviews.”
