Hyatt Place is set to open a new hotel in Beijing, close to Beijing Garden Expo Park.

The 136-room Hyatt Place Beijing Shiyuan is located in the city’s Yanqing district, known for its natural landscapes and world-class events facilities. It has direct access to attractions including Yeya Lake, Shijinglong Ski Resort and Longqing Gorge, and is 30 minutes from downtown Beijing by high-speed rail from Yanqing railway station.

According to the website, it is accepting reservations for stays from December 1.

The hotel’s 136 rooms include separate spaces to sleep and work, and include a ‘Cozy Corner’ sofa bed, complimentary wifi and the majority have private balconies.

Facilities include a fitness centre with cardio equipment and LCD touchscreens, and 370 sqm of events space, while dining venues include the Gallery Kitchen which offers breakfast and the Gallery Lounge which serves specialty coffee, premium beers, wines and cocktails.

The hotel also has a ‘necessities programme’, which allows guests to buy or borrow items that they have forgotten for free.

General Manager Stella Sun commented:

The hotel has been developed by Beijing Horticultural Expo Assets Operation Management Co, Ltd.
