Oman Air is resuming flights between Muscat and London Heathrow.

The flights were originally set to resume on September 3, but will now begin tomorrow (September 22).

The three-times-weekly flights operated by a B787 Dreamliner will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Muscat at 1425 local time and arriving in London at 1910 (local time). Flights from London will depart at 2050 and arrive in Muscat at 0715.

This news comes after the decision by the Sultanate of Oman to reopen to fully vaccinated travellers from September 1.

The airline advises guests to visit the Civil Aviation Authority website caa.gov.om to ensure that they meet the requirements to enter Muscat.

Several Middle Eastern carriers have ramped up their services to the UK in recent weeks, with Emirates set to resume flights to Newcastle in October, and Etihad restarting flights to London and Manchester.
