Marriott has added a property in Corfu to its Autograph Collection.
Domes of Corfu, Autograph Collection is located on the western coast of the Greek island, along the Glyfada beach with pine-covered cliffs above. It is a 20-minute drive from Corfu International airport and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Town Corfu.
The property comprises 233 guestrooms and suites, each with their own private patio or veranda. Interiors feature natural materials found in local surroundings and a stone-hued earthy colour palette.
The resort has four dining venues and four bars, which serve both international and locally sourced cuisine. The largest restaurant Agora offers traditional Mediterranean fare amid sea views across the bay; fine dining restaurant Frourio provides Italian-Greek fusion dishes; Psarotaverva serves the freshest catch of the day; and the open-air Core Spianada is inspired by the ancient Greek gathering place ‘agora’, offering “modern pop-up shopping with street food, socialising, engaging art” and events.
Leisure facilities include a kids club, three pools with adult-only areas, a spa with indigenous ancient rituals, and a host of activities including trekking tours to ancient sites and themed music events in partnership with the Ionian University of Music.
Guests of the ‘Haute Living Selection’, a series of “ultra-luxe accommodations”, benefit from a concierge service and a 24-hour lounge.
Marriott already operates the Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort on the island.
