Air Canada has expanded its Travel Ready hub to make life easier for travellers.

The interactive online tool allows customers to check the necessary travel documentation, Covid-19 test requirements and country travel restrictions for destinations across the airline’s network.

The new feature includes a search widget which allows users to access information specific to their situation and itinerary. Customers can check entry requirements for every country on their itinerary, including if they are connecting via another country or travelling with an airline partner; review Covid-19 test requirements and timeframes; and get travel advice such as airport arrival times and additional checks in place.

This comes after the news that Canada was added to the UK’s green list for travel, and has reopened to fully vaccinated travellers:

Canada reopens to fully vaccinated visitors

Lucie Guillemette, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Air Canada, commented:

“We continue to develop practical solutions to help our customers be travel-ready, wherever they want to go. This includes assisting them in navigating the changing entry requirements set by countries in our global network by making all relevant information available in one convenient place. But beyond making essential travel information readily accessible, our easy-to-use Travel Ready hub is designed to make it simple for customers to choose where to go next by showing the countries that are open to visitors through an interactive map.”

Air Canada recently announced that, as of October 31, 2021, its employees must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
