Hilton is set to open a new Curio Collection property on the Greek island of Santorini in spring 2022.

Sea Breeze Santorini Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, will be the group’s first hotel in Santorini and its second Curio Collection in the Greek islands – the group recently opened The Royal Senses Resort and Spa Crete, Curio Collection by Hilton in Crete.

The hotel will be located in Exomitis on the south coast of the island and feature a private beach, with all 37 rooms including a private terrace and a personal hot tub or swimming pool. The rooms will draw inspiration from the island’s blue and whitewashed architecture and feature stone walls and organic wooden textures.

Dining venues will include two restaurants and two bars, half of which will be located on the private beach. Leisure facilities will comprise two pools, a spa, fitness facilities and loungers by the beach.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Hilton said:

“With a 60-year legacy in Greece and hot on the heels of our latest opening in Crete, we are excited to further develop our Grecian portfolio with Hilton’s first hotel in Santorini. One of Greece’s most popular islands, Santorini welcomes more than two million visitors each year and is an ideal location for our second Curio Collection by Hilton in the Greek islands.  This new hotel joins more than 20 Curio Collection hotels in development across Europe, doubling the brand’s European presence in the next three years. Opening next year, we are pleased to partner with Santorini specialists Alexandros Ltd to offer this unique and impressive beachfront hotel.”

The hotel is part of a franchise agreement with Alexandros Ltd. Hilton launched the Curio Collection in 2014, and the brand now boasts more than 100 hotels and resorts in 30 countries and territories, with 66 additional properties under development.
