Car rental brand Lumi, part of the Seera Group, has launched a new app and mobile web platform, a move it says further accelerates the development of sophisticated travel booking solutions in Saudi Arabia.
The Lumi platforms aim to provide a seamless car rental experience for customers, while significantly shortening the length of time it takes to book a vehicle.
Customers can now benefit from dedicated counters at select Lumi airport or inner-city branches when booking via the app or mobile web.
The new platforms also showcase Lumi’s wide car option variety with guaranteed availability.
Customers can view competitive pricing for their rental on the digital platforms, which serve as a single point for information such as details of the vehicle, convenient and secure payment methods, and booking confirmation.
Lumi also offers 24/7 roadside assistance and an option to add insurance and extras such as GCC permits.
Available on both iOS and Android operating systems, the new Lumi app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Bookings can also be made via lumirental.com on mobile devices. A fully fledged website booking portal will launch by Q4, 2021.
Lumi says it offers the youngest rental fleet in the kingdom, with more than 70 per cent of its 14,000 vehicles under one year old.
Its current 26-strong branch network includes eight airport counters, with further expansion planned to include two new airport branches and three new downtown branches.
