India’s civil aviation ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adani Group for providing reserved services including customs, immigration, and security at Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram airports.

“An MoU for providing Reserved Services (Customs, Immigration, Plant and Animal Quarantine Services, Health Services, Meteorological and Security Services) was signed between Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India (MoCA) and Adani Enterprises for Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram Airports,” tweeted MoCA.

Earlier this year, Adani Group had signed concession agreements with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for operation, management, and development of Jaipur, Guwahati, and Thiruvananthapuram airports through public-private partnership (PPP) model.

In addition, an agreement for providing communication navigation surveillance-air traffic management (CNS-ATM) services at these three airports has also been signed between AAI and Adani Group.
