Langham Hospitality Group will open its first property in Southeast Asia next month, with a hotel in Jakarta.

The Langham Jakarta is located within the new complex of District 8 at Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) and is close to the city’s financial, cultural and entertainment centres.

Guests will be welcomed by a 10-metre-high lobby with chandeliers by lighting experts Lasvit, while the 59th floor will house the Langham Club lounge with panoramic views of Jakarta City, a writer’s corner, a reading library, and private arrival and departure facilities with butlers for personalised service.

The 233-room hotel will also include dining venues such as Tom’s by Tom Aitkens, afternoon tea at Alice, and outposts of  T’ang Court – the three-michelin-starred Cantonese namesake at The Langham, Hong Kong – and the Artesian (from The Langham London property) on the rooftop.

Meanwhile, the 670 sqm Chuan Spa will offer private treatment rooms, a fully-equipped fitness centre and the city’s highest indoor infinity pool.

When it comes to meetings and events, the hotel offers over 2,100 sqm of flexible space including a ballroom, a garden and 11 meeting rooms.

The hotel is already accepting reservations for bookings from September 9.
