Air India has announced special flights connecting London with Indian cities including Chennai, Kolkata and Goa.
The flag carrier of India will operate non-stop flight between London and Kolkata on August 21 and 28, 2021. Flight on Kolkata-London route will be operational on August 22 and 29, 2021.
Fly non-stop on London-Chennai sector on August 26 and 31, 2021; and between Chennai and London on August 27 and September 1, 2021.
Air India will also operate flights on London – Goa- London sector on August 26 and 27, 2021.
Bookings can be made through the airline’s website, booking offices, call centre, mobile app and authorised travel agents.
Air India has also announced additional flights to London (Heathrow) for the month of August 2021 from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Kochi.
Directorate General of Civil Aviation India has advised passengers, travelling to international destinations, “to check the fare preferably from the website of the concerned airline as the meta search engines at times do not reflect the actual point to point fare and do make combinations of multiple airlines and end up with an exaggerated figure.”
