Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s (CSMIA) Pranaam guest service has introduced enhanced its offerings to assist elderly passengers and young minors in a guided sequence while strictly following the safety and hygienic protocols.
Through this service, the senior citizens and children unaccompanied by their parents can avail all the facilities under Pranaam, including the personalised meet and assist services, dedicated porter for check-in baggage, assistance with the hand baggage, Immigration guidance process, amongst others.
In addition, elderly citizens and kids can also have easy access to the Adani Lounge to enjoy elaborate cuisines. A personal shopper can be arranged to aid the passengers with shopping at the retail stores.
As per the official statistics, Pranaam Services has seen over 15,000 passengers availing of the service from April 2021 – July 2021, of which over 500 senior citizens have opted for the service. Besides, approximately 33 per cent of first-time passengers have availed of the service during the same period.
“With the growing number of passengers availing the Pranaam services during these turbulent times, the need to introduce the bespoke service to senior citizens and kids unaccompanied by minors will provide a seamless transit experience as the Pranaam Services has been designed in the spirit of Atithi Devo Bhava – Guest is equivalent to God,” states an official release by CSMIA.
