Spicejet has announced the addition of Bhavnagar in Gujarat to its domestic network.

The low-cost will operate direct flights connecting Bhavnagar with Delhi, Mumbai and Surat, starting from August 20, 2021.

Bhavnagar is a key centre for trade and home to many large- and small-scale industries. It is also a renowned tourist destination in Gujarat, with several temples, blackbuck national park, lakes and beaches among others.

Spicejet will also launch ten more flights connecting Gwalior with Jaipur, Kishangarh (Ajmer) with Mumbai, Belagavi with Delhi and Vishakhapatnam with Bengaluru, besides adding an additional frequency on the Delhi-Jammu sector. Flights will be effective from August 5, 2021.

The airline also boasts being the first and only airline to operate direct non-stop flights connecting Bhavnagar with Delhi and Surat, Gwalior with Jaipur and Kishangarh (Ajmer) with Mumbai.

 The airline will be deploying a mix of its Boeing 737 and Q400 aircraft on these routes.
