Hyatt has debuted its Regency brand in the Chinese port city of Guangzhou.
The Hyatt Regency Guangzhou Zengcheng is situated in the Zengcheng National Economic and Technological Development Zone of east Guangzhou, and features 408 rooms with 65-inch LED TVs and design inspired by traditional Lingnan culture, with “colourful artworks that depict details of the local architecture and nature”.
Facilities include a 20th floor Regency Club lounge, Chinese restaurant Xiang Yue with eight private dining rooms, all day dining Market Cafe, a heated indoor pool, fitness centre and nearly 3,000 sqm of events space including an 850 sqm Regency Ballroom.
The property also features 96 serviced apartments on the upper levels offering kitchenettes and washer dryers.
Hyatt Regency Guangzhou Zengcheng joins the existing Park Hyatt Guangzhou and Grand Hyatt Guangzhou.

Hyatt recently announced plans for a Regency property in Shanghai’s Songjiang district, the brand’s fourth hotel in the city.
