Marriott International has signed an agreement with International Himalaya Hospitality and Hotel Pvt Ltd to debut the Moxy brand in Kathmandu.

Expected to open in 2025, Moxy Kathmandu will feature 108 guestrooms and suites, Bar Moxy, an all-day dining outlet Moxy Kitchen and Pick-ups and the Rooftop Bar. Leisure facilities include a fully-equipped fitness centre and an outdoor pool.

The hotel will be located in the Kamaladi area and within close proximity to the Tribhuvan International Airport. Some nearby popular tourist places include Narayanhiti Palace, the Swayambhunath Stupa and the Pashupatinath Temple.

International Himalaya Hospitality and Hotel Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of the Kathmandu headquartered M S Group.

Moxy Kathmandu, Nepal will be the company’s third hotel with Marriott International in addition to Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu that opened in 2017 and the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel in 2019.
