In line with UAE government directives, Emirates has extended the ban on its flights from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Dubai until July 28, 2021.

In addition, the Dubai-based carrier also stated that passengers who have connected through any of these four south Asian countries in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE.

“UAE Nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with updated Covid‑19 protocols, are exempt and may be accepted for travel,” Emirates said in an official statement.

Passengers whose flights have been cancelled or impacted by route suspensions due to Covid‑19 restrictions, can hold on to their Emirates ticket and when flights resume, they can get in touch with the airline or the booking office to make new travel plans.

Check the “Keep your ticket” option for more information.
