Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) is expanding the presence of its homestay concept, Amã Stays & Trails in Munnar in Kerala with a collection of seven heritage Tea Estate bungalows.

They are located in the popular Kanan Devan Hills, on an estate that spans over 58,000 acres of lush plantations and thick forests.

Guests can indulge in a wide range of local experiences from trout fishing on the estate, hot air balloon rides, rounds of golf, or a visit to the tea factories and the Tata Tea Museum.

The cuisine at the bungalows reflects Kerala, Tamil and British influences through traditional family recipes passed down generations.

Sarabjeet Singh, head – expressions, IHCL said:

“Amã Stays & Trails is India’s first branded homestay product. Our new additions in Munnar are in line with our vision for expansion to capture the growing demand for private stays. With the opening of these Tea Estate bungalows, Amã steps into yet another new destination.”

The brand has a portfolio of 24 bungalows and villas with 14 under development.
