Accor has opened three new Ibis properties in Bournemouth and greater London, as the brand continues its UK growth in 2021.
As previously reported, Ibis Styles Bournemouth is housed within a property which previously traded as the Hotel Royale, and is dubbed as “the UK’s first ice cream themed hotel, with a creative interior design that tells a story through the design evoking memories of childhood visits to the seaside”.
The property is situated a few roads back from Bournemouth’s beachfront, and around a mile from Bournemouth rail station, and the hotel’s 76 rooms are split across ‘Mint Choc Chip’, ‘Tutti Frutti’, and ‘Very Berry’ design styles.

Meanwhile Ibis Styles Seven Kings near Ilford in east London has a botanical theme, inspired by the nearby Valentines Park, and features a “living foyer decked out with plants embodying the nature theme”, as well as rooftop garden, charging stations for electric vehicles and secure bike storage.
Finally Ibis London Sutton Point (room pictured above) is located close to the town’s rail station, and forms part of a development which also includes an Adagio aparthotel property. The Ibis hotel features the brand’s new Plaza concept bedrooms, and Charlie’s Corner bar and restaurant.
The new openings follow the addition of nine Ibis Budget properties in the UK earlier this year, following an agreement with Ago Hotels to rebrand former Travelodge hotels.
